#definesuccess Week of Jan. 27

During the month of December, I asked some of my residents in Hillenbrand to share their definitions of success with me. Here are a few of their responses:

“Success is whatever you define it to be.” – Briana

“Success is not defined by your peers or your triumphs and failures. Success is the ability to work through the hardest of times to get a result, even if the odds are not in your favor.” – Jordan

“Being happy with who I am and what I’m doing. Also, making money would be pretty sweet.” – Elliot

“Success is when people no longer search for you on Facebook, but they search on Google.” – Sakshay

“To laugh often and love much.” – Anonymous

“Success is what you want it to be.” – Mike

“Success is doing what you love as best as you can and never regretting a moment.” – Scott

“Success is looking in the mirror and seeing the person you’ve always wanted to be.” – Pauline

“Success is being able to be there for your friends and family, no matter what hardships it may entail. Living such a life to do what you love, provide for yourself and others, and being able to look back and feel no regret.” – Jeff

“Success is the culmination of all your past failures.” – Max

“Success is when you can walk and carry yourself like America’s Next Top Model, even though some days you feel like the bottom two.” – Morgan

“Success is what you make it. Some say riches, some say marriage, some say happiness. Success is only success when you are truly fully happy.” – Charnelle

Do you agree with any of these definitions? How do you #definesuccess?
