CCO Contest: Name the Career Fair

Background

Did you know that there is a career fair at Purdue that connects students with employers who are looking for internship and full-time candidates who have the ability to thrive in global business.

We are looking for a name that captures the attention of students looking to apply both their technical and global competencies in a full-time or internship position.

Targeted candidates may have one or more of the competencies listed below:

  1. Foreign Language Skills
  2. Cultural Awareness and International Experience

Guidelines

The name for this career fair should be:

  1. Inclusive: Past idea have included ‘Bilingual Student Career Fair’ (students need not have a foreign language competency, may only have international experience) and Mandarin-Speaking Career Fair (students may speak other languages, e.g. Spanish, Hindi etc.).
  2. Short and Attention-Grabbing

Please submit your career fair name ideas using the following format:

Email Body: 1) Your Name, 2) Your Phone Number, 3) Your Email, 4) Your Name for the Career Fair

The last day to submit your idea is April 3rd, 2015!

Prize

The winner of this contest will get a change to dine at a restaurant of his/her choice and have a conversation with Tim Luzader, the Director of the Center for Career Opportunities.
