No specific major is required, however, a successful candidate must enthusiastically want to learn more about government and politics in the real world.
Interns will work full-time to learn the legislative process, gaining an in-depth understanding of how laws are made in an immersive, professional environment. Individual intern responsibilities will depend on the legislators and staff with whom he or she works.
